LC Prado TX
The new Prado brings with it a big improvement in available equipment, now offering not only greater driving performance, but cutting¬edge technology which you could previously only find available in select models of the Land Cruiser200. The main reason in developing this model was in response to changing consumer trends, which were looking for a compact and robust SUV, which at the same time offered good performance on paved roads. The new Land Cruiser Prado will continue to be the same great success which the previous generation has been for our markets.
Design
The engineers at Toyota used the key words " Intelligent Modern " when designing the Land Cruiser Prado. With this, they decided to break all the traditional stereotypes associated with a SUV design. Normally, to show an SUV's power added or bolted-on elements were included ( such as side-steps, over-fenders, etc ) However, our model does just the opposite, it shows the vehicle as a single large unified mass, portraying itself as an advanced 4WD

Safety
Safety was designed into the new Land Cruiser Prado from the start. Its chassis frame offers excellent impact protection while the low centre-of-gravity, long wheelbase and wide wheel track give excellent handling and stability. A combination of active and passive safety systems ensures optimum protection for driver and passengers.

The Land Cruiser Prado is full of comfort and convenience feature for both the driver and the passengers. For the driver, a knee pillow is found on the centre console. This helps the driver to avoid bumps and bruises on his/her lower leg during off-road driving. In addition, the second and third row seats come with comfortable arm rests making any trip an enjoyable one. An endless array of storage compartments including a sungladd holder and a conversation mirror – the latter allowing the driver to hold a conversation with the rear passengers without having to turn around
