Design
The exterior gives a practical look to this work horse and with it's sleek shapes and design shows that the Hiace is ready to work. The interior is no less practical, and offers the driver maximum comfort through the fabric seats. These seats have been toughened to withstand wear and tear and also the driver's seat has the added feature of being height adjustable. The driver's position is also uncompromised by the use of an adjustable steering wheel.
The squared off overall body design not only looks stylish and professional, it optimises the interior room. The radiator and engine is positioned to optimise interior room, while the small bonnet allows easy checking of fluids.

Safety
The seats are also reinforced for added strength. Three safety belts in front are fitted with pre tensioners meaning that at a moment of impact the seat belts are drawn back. Force Limiters release belt tension once a specific load has been reached and the Hiace also has a strong rigid body and combined with Minimal Intrusion Cabin System, helps absorbs impact to minimise cabin distortion. This is helped with the aid of crumple zones featured in the front and rear of the Hiace. The front doors are reinforced with steel impact beams to provide extra security.
